Simon RWA at the Record BAU 2015

BAU, the World´s Leading Trade Fair for Architecture, Materials and Systems, has broken through the 250,000-visitor barrier for the first time in its 50-year history. The six days of this fair?in which all the exhibition space has long been fully booked?attracted 251,200 visitors: that´s over 16,000 more than in 2013. The number of visitors from Germany rose of course, but most of the increase in overall numbers is due to visitors from outside Germany. Around 72,000 people came from abroad?that´s 20 percent more than last time.Also Simon RWA has participated and we welcomed long time partners, customers and many new interested people on our new booth at the new place in hall B1 ? 238. With the new corner booth all people from both sides of the hallways were invited. So for Simon RWA itself it was a Record BAU, too. At this time we were able to make as many leads as never before, we had more conversations and spread a lot of prospects. On the first day we were allowed to welcomed the parliamentary secretary of state for Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety Mr. MdB Florian Pronold for a nice expert talk on our booth.

Main focus of attention for many booth visitors was the various line-up of actuator technology around of the Folding Arm² family, which was coated in a special color for good-looking. ?Do you provide this color for standard now?? was the question of many guests with a smile. Beside the Folding Arm² we were able to present the first prototype of the EA-K-30 chain actuator, the ?little brother? of EA-K-50. With 300 N, smaller dimensions and all programmable features of the EA-K-50 we will be able to provide the EA-K-30 chain actuator soon.
In the electronic corner we have shown the new digital modular control panel M-SHEV®, ready for working and programming with Simon Link by touchscreen. Now we have the basis for a huge number of setting and combination possibilities of the different modules. The compact version M-SHEV-10-AP will be available soon.

In the area of textile fire protection we put some different smoke and fire curtain systems on our booth. Beside the classic ones, Smoke PROtec® and Fire PROtec® we had the new FireScreen-EI with a classification of EI60 (isolated functionality for more than 60 minutes without sprinklers).

We were very pleased about lots of known, as well as new exhibition visitors and contacts. Every conversation, whether short or detailed, was very interesting and all promise exciting projects for the future. More pictures at Company > Impressions
